Here’s a step-by-step view of how to create a login account for your staff and other types of admin users.

Administrative-level users could be members of your team or other authorized parties like underwriters or case managers. These admin users can access data for multiple groups, and you control which ones they have access to. Let’s take a look at how you can create login accounts for these parties.

In the Control Panel, go to “Users” and “Admin Users.” Click the “Add Admin User” button.

Complete the required information about this user. Remember that the Email Address entered here will serve as the Username. Also, when your portal sends notifications to the user, they will be sent to this email address.

Then click “Save.”

The account has been created and now you’ll need to give this user a Temporary Password.

Search for the account you just created and click the Edit icon.

At the bottom of the page, check “Reset Password.” Then, type in a Temporary Password, and click “Save.”

Before you give this login account to the user, you may want to manage what she has access to through the User-Defined Roles or Data Restrictions tools.

When you’re done, ask the user to log in under this new account. The Email Address is the Username, and she should use the Temporary Password you just gave her.

The user will then be prompted to set her security questions, her password, and log into your portal.
